About Us
We are a private church devoted to deep spiritual communion through sacred plant sacraments, practiced in the nurturing embrace of Mother Nature. Our intimate group sessions foster a sense of connection and healing, with sacraments that are sustainably, ethically, and sacredly prepared onsite. Every element of our rituals, from the plants we use to the live music and energetic purification, is chosen to help expand consciousness and promote spiritual growth.
We welcome individuals of all faiths, races, and sexual orientations, trusting the sacrament to guide each person’s journey in a way that meets their unique needs. Our commitment is to provide a safe, loving space where you can explore your spirituality while honoring and caring for our collective home, Mother Earth.
Enhance your experience with our supportive tools like AyaDose for microdosing Ayahuasca, our cherished smudge blends, chai teas, drums, and transformative integration coaching. As a 100% donation-supported church, we are grateful for the generosity of our members and kind individuals like you. Thank you for being part of our community.
Mission
Our mission is to expand consciousness as a pathway for spiritual growth, helping to transcend suffering and limitation while nurturing intellectual and moral virtues.
Vision
We envision a spiritually-conscious, healthy planet in harmony and balance—ecologically, economically, and within all living beings—where every system nourishes and supports one another in love.
Values
We value you. Every living being is a divine creation, with unique gifts and talents. We value religious freedom, integrity, transparency, courage, vulnerability, and the spirit of love that connects us all.
Meet Your Facilitators
Shannon & Travis
At the heart of our sacred space are Shannon and Travis, a dynamic husband-and-wife team dedicated to service, spiritual growth, and healing through the use of plant sacraments. With decades of combined experience in psychedelics, healing arts, and transcendental philosophies, they bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to their work.
Shannon is a former Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience in the healing arts and psychedelics. Her deep connection to Mother Nature and her extensive training in traditions like União Do Vegetal (UDV) and Shipibo have shaped her into a skilled plant sacrament facilitator, herbalist, and integration coach. Shannon is also an ordained minister, ayahuasca birth doula, and author, with a passion for helping others overcome life's challenges and connect with their highest selves. Her journey through personal hardships, including overcoming addictions and chronic pain, has equipped her with unique insights into the path to freedom and fulfillment.
Travis complements Shannon's work with his heart for service and practical talents. As a creator of numerous community service projects, his dedication to uplifting others is evident in everything he does. With over 20 years of experience in psychedelics and spiritual education, Travis is well-versed in the UDV and Shipibo traditions of ayahuasca. His skills in gardening, welding, and mechanics are crucial in maintaining the retreat's sanctuary, ensuring that it's always ready to welcome those seeking spiritual growth.
Together, Shannon and Travis are fulfilling their dream of awakening the planet, one person at a time. They invite you to join them on this transformative journey, whether through attending their plant sacrament services, exploring the offerings in their store, or supporting their mission to bring spiritual awakening to the world.

Meet Our Support Team
Maya
Maya, Shannon & Travis' daughter, brings a wise and empathetic presence to our team. At 20, her natural ability to connect with others shines through in everything she does. Maya handles emails and administrative tasks, keeping our church running smoothly.
With a keen eye for detail, Maya ensures nothing is overlooked—whether it's editing our copy, assisting with secretarial duties, or contributing creative ideas. She warmly welcomes all members, with a special gift for making children feel at home. Maya is gaining invaluable experience learning about plant-based spirituality and serving her community.
An avid reader, swimmer, rock climber, sailor, surfer, and nature lover (except for mosquitos), Maya carries on the adventurous spirit of our church. She's currently studying Classics in Sarasota, FL.
Kyle
Kyle joined the GSF team in 2020, and his personal transformation has been inspiring to witness. His dedication to spiritual growth, along with his enthusiasm, strength, and kindness, makes him a remarkable part of our community. Always ready to lend a hand, Kyle brings creativity and a strong work ethic to everything he touches, and we are grateful for his many talents.
A devoted father, water enthusiast, and animal lover, Kyle also enjoys reading and music. His practices in breathwork, QiGong, meditation, and personal training keep us all balanced and energized. Kyle’s heart of gold is felt by everyone he meets.
Our Volunteers
Our church thrives thanks to the dedication, talents, and generosity of our volunteers. We are deeply grateful for their contributions, which help sustain our community. While volunteers may come and go, we honor their lasting impact and celebrate their gifts.
We want to acknowledge long-term volunteers who have become like family to us: Michael, Grace, Nina, Tom, Jeff, Garrett, Linda, Jennifer, Matt, Kyle, and Kim. Thank you for being a part of our lives. May your journey be filled with presence and gratitude.
